Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapy can help children with various needs improve their cognitive, physical, and motor skills and enhance their self-esteem and sense of accomplishment.

Occupational therapy at ABC is individualized, with therapeutic activities designed to address your child’s specific needs. Children enjoy one on one sessions with our experienced therapist in our child-friendly, indoor gymnasium. Some areas of focus are fine motor coordination, sensory integration, handwriting and daily living skills, necessary for success at home, in school and on the playground. In addition to individual treatment sessions we also offer evaluation and assessment of fine/gross motor skills, sensory integration and visual-perceptual skills.

Our therapist is licensed by the North Carolina Board of Occupational Therapy.
